Towards Path-breaking Research and Societal Impact: the Dynamics of S&T Policy in China and Europe/Nordics/Sweden

Themes

How S&T policies are formed in China (and in other countries), how priorities are set, how funding is orchestrated and allocated, how institutions (universities, and institutes) are governed and by whom, how recruitment and mobility within and between different research organizations and fields of activity are arranged and stimulated, and how achievements and progress in the S&T system and its various constituent parts are assessed and monitored.How Sweden and China work with creating value, excellence, impact and resilience in their research systems, with and through individuals and institutions and international collaborations.
